Standard certification across our carports, buildings, combo units, and RV covers is 140 MPH wind / 25 PSF snow load, with upgrades available to 170 MPH / 65 PSF for coastal, high-wind, and heavy-snow regions. Wide-span, commercial, and horse barn structures can be upgraded to 12-gauge steel framing for a 20-year limited warranty. Certified engineered drawings are available when your county requires them for a building permit — just tell us your job-site address when you order.

Can I upgrade a carport to an enclosed building later?

Yes. All three roof styles share the same base frame system, so sides, ends, doors, windows, and roll-up doors can be added later to fully enclose a carport, or convert it into a combo unit or RV cover. Ordering the enclosure up front is usually less expensive than retrofitting.
